Good to Know

Your Visit

What should I expect at my first appointment?

Plan to arrive a few minutes early to go over a short health intake. Arielle will talk through what’s going on with your body and what you want out of the session, then tailor the work from there. [PLACEHOLDER: adjust to your actual intake flow.]

Do I have to undress?

Only to your comfort level. You’ll always be professionally draped, and great work can be done through clothing if you prefer. Your comfort runs the session.

Should a massage be painful?

A massage should never be more intense than you want it to be. Deeper work can involve some “good hurt” as stubborn knots release, but pressure is always adjusted to you; just say the word at any point during your session.

Is there talking (or not talking) during my treatment?

Entirely up to you. Many clients prefer quiet; others like to chat. Arielle follows your lead, the only thing she’ll always check in about is pressure and comfort.

Can I add hot stones, aromatherapy, or cupping?

Yes. Add-ons run $5 to $25: aromatherapy ($5), hot stones or a peppermint scalp massage ($10), cupping or fascial scraping ($15), and a lymphatic face massage with our heated infrared Gua Sha tool ($25). You choose them while booking, right after picking your massage. Note that Deep Tissue and Lymphatic Drainage already include their specialty treatments free, and Relax & Reset includes free aromatherapy.

Do you have a new-client special?

Yes! First-time clients get 15% off a Signature Custom Massage: join our email list to get your discount code. One use per client, Signature massages only.

Policies & Practical Details

What’s your cancellation policy?

For appointments canceled or rescheduled within 24 hours we charge 50% of the service total. No-shows may be charged full price.

How do I book an appointment?

Online booking is the fastest way; hit any “Book Now” button to pick your service and time. You can also reach out through the contact page and we’ll get you scheduled.

Can I use my HSA or FSA?

Yes. We accept HSA and FSA cards at checkout, the same as any other card. Massage is widely eligible when it serves a medical purpose, though some plans ask for a letter of medical necessity from your doctor, so it is worth a quick check with your plan. Just ask and we will send you an itemized receipt for your records.

Is gratuity expected?

Tips are never required and always appreciated.

Do you offer gift cards?

Yes! E-gift cards are available online any time; see the gift cards page. Physical cards are sold in studio. They make a wonderful gift for birthdays, anniversaries, or anyone who could use an hour of genuine rest. Gift cards never expire.
